Our offered Engineering und Consulting-Services in connection with power plant projects cover amongst others:
- Feasibility studies (assessment of the profitability of power plants and economic optimisation, assessment of the technical feasibility, concepts, machines and main components, investment and operation expenses analyses, FEED-Studies)
- Analysis of power plants and complete power plant concepts (water/steam cycle, scheme, electric- and control technology, civil works, etc.)
- Assessment of the compatibility of components and their availability on the market
- Procurement support
- Compilation of plant documentations
- Support for our customers in order to obtain all necessary licences, permits and approvals
- Detailed and comprehensive planning- and project management-services and
- Accompanying supervision of construction and complete project management

Planning and Erection of Turn Key Power Plants
Being a typical EPC-Contractor we assume full responsibility for the success of the complete power plant project.
Based on individual requests of our customer, we are prepared to realise projects by ways of EPsC–Contracts. This kind of contract allows our customers to procure the main components of the power plant by their company-own purchasing department, claiming technical and commercial support from emc and therefore, save precious time and money.
Beside the planning and the installation of complete turnkey power plants, we would of course be glad to offer you as well just selected sections of a complete power plant project, or simple plant systems on a turnkey basis.
Relocation of Existing Power Plants
Our services in connection with the relocation of existing gas turbine power plants cover the organisation of the dismantling of the plant components, the transport of the plant to the new location, the installation, commissioning and the conduction of all necessary tests.
Modernisation and Conversion of Existing Power Plants
Another focus of our scope of business is the modernisation of existing gas turbine power plants. In this context emc developed the “emc steam-tail-solution TM”-concept for the conversion of existing simple-cycle plants into highly energy-efficient combined-cycle power plants, or into modern combined heat and power plants.
In order to enable our customers to save substantial fuel costs and to meet environmental requirements, emc also offers to replace used gas and steam turbines that are no longer state-of-the–art. In this context we would be glad to advise you on any further imaginable measures in order to increase the energy efficiency of your power plant.
Use of Flare Gas and Expansion of Gas Compressor Stations
The reduction of harmful CO2-emissions will be one of the major challenges of the global economy over the next decades.
In order to improve energy and economic efficiency, emc developed power plant concepts, based on the utilisation of flare gas (“emc-flare-gas-solution TM”) and waste heat of gas compressor stations (“emc-compressor-station-concept TM”) .
Installation and Commissioning
In connection with the construction of power plants, we offer to carry out the installation, the commissioning and all necessary tests for your project.
In case these services are performed by other contractors, we would be glad to take over the accompanying supervision for your project.
